IPv6 update

Posted: 2009-Jun-07

I have been talking to the host of conga about their ipv6 plans.

They are currently integrating ipv6 and the we should [hopefully] be able to get IPv6 sometime before 2010.

CONGA!

Posted: 2009-May-09

Inspired by the conga cartoon on explosm.net;
We (Kalle and I) have gotten a new server, so I have been configurating, testing and moving sites the past week.

I have now transfered RMLR.org, thelampisalie.com, kalle.tuxxedo.net, tuxxedo.net, xxclamxx.net and codename-tgrklanen.net to Conga.

Kalleload will stay on Mango for eta 20-25 days, due to the size of the site, while we're configurating the remainings.

Due to the new server, the current IPv6 implementation is now cancelled, but you can read more about that on the Tuxxedo Devblog.

IPv6 implemention

Posted: 2009-Apr-09

The past hour i've been using configurating server and dns for ipv6 addresses for most of the sites running on mango.

Some of the sites have had ipv6 configured for some time now, like kalleload.net, (which have its own subdomain, ipv6.kalleload.net, too, to ensure full ipv6 support).

As my own domains (rmlr.dk, rmlr.info and rmlr.org) is running on 3 different servers/connections, it's currently only rmlr.org which have an ipv6 address applied.

The newly added sites is tuxxedo.net, codename-tgrklanen.net and thelampisalie.com.

It's planned to add an address to Kalles blog too, and that's about it for now.

For those who doesn't know what ip[v6] is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IP_address.

Left 4 Dead console config

Posted: 2009-Mar-26

As some of the players of Left 4 Dead is from non-english/US keyboard layout countries, we can't by default open the console in left 4 dead.

As I'm from Denmark, I had the same problem, so I searched the net, and after 3-4 forums threads on different sites i found a solution.

So here is Howto enable console in L4D on non-us/non-english keyboard layout.

Step one: Before opening L4D, right click on the game => properties.
Select "set launch options..." and add "-console" (no quotes).
Press OK => Close, and run the game.

Step two: With L4D open, write: [bind "F12" "toggleconsole"] (all text between [ and ])
and hit enter.
In case you can't see the console, or it shut itself off, ingame L4D; goto step 3, and come back.

Step three: Go to Options => Keyboard/Mouse.
Click on "Allow developer console" and select "Enabled" if not already.
Click Done and you should be good to go.
